Trying to sort out what's normal before I overreact. We back up to the Jeffrey Open Space trail and I've started seeing one trotting the fence line around 6:45 most mornings, not skittish at all, just kind of going about its business. Is a coyote that's this comfortable near people something that changes over time, or is a regular commuter route like that just part of living out here? I'm not looking to panic, I'd genuinely rather understand it than assume the worst. We keep the cat in and I've been walking the dog leashed after reading a few threads here, so I think we're covered on the basics. Mostly just want a read from folks who've lived alongside them longer than we have.
