Coyote just trotted across Avenida Vaquero near the sports park about 6:40 this morning, headed toward the trail behind the field. Didn't seem in any hurry. Keeping my two indoors till things settle — figured the early dog-walk crowd would want the heads up.

Courtney, a coyote sitting and watching at the treeline is honestly pretty normal Talega behavior, not stalking. Biscuit's the thing to manage: short leash, right at your side, don't let him range ahead. If one ever follows, get loud and big, throw something, act like a jerk. That hazing actually resets them. I'd keep your walk time; the kids waiting outside are fine with an adult nearby.
