Just watched one trot across the Aliso Creek trail near the AV Aquatic Center, maybe 7:40 this morning. Didn't seem bothered by me at all, just crossed and kept going up toward the ridge. Wasn't limping or anything, looked healthy. Posting the sighting in case it helps anyone tracking where they move through here.

Welcome, Arash. Honestly, that sitting-and-watching thing wouldn't sit right with me. A truly wild coyote that respects people usually moves off when it sees you coming, morning after morning. One that parks itself and studies your routine has stopped being shy. I'd call OC Animal Care and report the location, and I wouldn't do that loop at the same time every day until it's gone.
